This room wanders through the loft of our main lodge, from a private bath, to a cozy bedroom/ sitting area, and finally to the alcove that holds the 2-person spa tub and features 4 skylights to let in the stars at night. The Emperor's Chamber

Truly fit for a king or queen. An 18th century hand-carved mural depicting China from the Emperor's point of view covers one entire wall. Enjoy the numerous other Asian antiques while sitting in front of the gas fireplace after a soak in your private spa tub. A stay in this room is like a trip to a museum, only much more romantic.

English Cottages

For a relaxing and romantic setting for your retreat together, try our most popular rooms. All of our cottages include a gas fireplace in the living area, cable TV tucked discretely away into an armoire, king size "sleigh" bed, 2-person spa tub, CD stereo and coffee maker. Each room has a unique, hand painted Trompe L'oeil mural for your enjoyment. The cottages are just a short stroll through the gardens to the amenities of the main lodge.

For that traditional, European Inn experience, you'll want to choose one of our Garden Rooms. A cozy queen size bed, private bath, CD stereo and small sitting area await your arrival. These upstairs rooms offer some of the best views of our gardens and a very private feel to your stay.
