"We were heading to San Francisco from Eugene to celebrate our 30t anniversary, and stopped in Ashland and happend to hear about Lithia Springs Resort.  We visited it and decided to spend the night.  After staying at Lithia Springs, we cancelled our reservations in San Francisco and spent the rest of the week at Lithia Springs.  We enjoyed it so much, we have been coming back ever since."

History of the Inn

To local indians these lands & hot springs was considered a "place of healing".  Members tribes were welcome to bathe and partake of it's healing waters, but all tribal differences had to be left outside.  These springs became know as "Common Grounds" for the indians and played a centeral part in the tribal life in Southern Oregon as a meeting place to meet and settle tribal differences.

A wide array of boutique wineries producing supurb wines, rivers teeming with trout, steel head and salmon, pristine lakes, lots of great bike trails and plenty of walking and hiking trails, and Lithia Springs Resort and Gardens is in the middle of it all. Southern Oregon's Ashland is nationally knowna for live theater, with 9 live theaters, with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and it 4 theaters,  The Oregon Cabaret Theater,  

From Crater Lake National Park, to the The Oregon Caves and The Peter Britt Festival, to the Ginger Rogers Theater the list go on.  You want outdoor recreation, in winter there is Skiing and Snow Boarding at Mount Ashland and ice skating in Lithia Park. In Springs, Summer or Fall there is  Fly Fishing in the Rogue, Applegate and Klamath Rivers.
